Frankies are India's flavorful street food, these can be filled with an assortment of ingredients. This is our healthier twist on the dish using Elephant Atta Medium with added Vitamin D.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Atta
  • 1 tsp of Pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tsp of dry mango powder
  • 1 tsp of red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of ground coriander
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1 tsp of garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli or harissa paste
  • Sliced chicken breast or spicy paneer for the filling

Method:

01 Take 1 cup of atta and bind into a semi soft dough using cold water and is divided and each piece is rolled out in to large rotis and cooked on a hot tawa.

02 Make the frankie masala in a grinder add x 1 tsp of each of the following pomegranate seeds, dry mango powder mixed with red chilli powder, dhania- jeera powder and garam masala.

03 Make the sauce in a bowl by adding x1 tsp soy sauce, x 1 tsp chilli paste (we have used harrisa paste for a richer flavour) and mix together.

04 You can add any fillings you like, we have made chicken fillings and a spicy paneer for the vegetarian option.
