Ingredients for Green Garlic Parathas

  • 1.5 cups Elephant Atta (medium) with Vitamin D
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 cup green garlic roughly chopped (fresh or frozen)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1-2 chillies fresh
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil (+ more for cooking)
  • 1 tsp salt

Method to make Green Garlic Parathas

01. Make a fine paste of the coriander leaves, garlic, chillies, cumin seeds using as little water as required

02. To the Elephant Vitamin D atta, add the coriander garlic paste and salt - mix well

03. Add water gradually to make a soft dough. Apply the oil, cover and set aside for 15 minutes

04. Divide the dough into 10 balls and roll them out into thin discs

05. Heat a griddle and place a paratha on it. Cook both sides until brown spots appear on them

06. Smear a tablespoon of oil/ghee on each side, cook for another minutes and remove from heat

07. Serve your healthy and yummy green garlic parathas with achaar and yogurt for a hearty meal.
