Open Pan Method [drain]
Use 75g of Elephant Basmati Boost Rice per serving
1. Rinse the rice with cold water until the water runs clear
2. Cover the rinsed rice in a saucepan with cold water and bring to the boil
3. Cook for 12 minutes over a medium heat uncovered
4. Drain, cover & leave to stand for 5 minutes
5. Fluff it up with a fork and serve


Closed Pan Method [absorption]
Use 75g of Elephant Basmati Boost Rice per serving
1. Rinse the rice with cold water until the water runs clear
2. Add the washed rice to a pan of water using a 2 to 1 water to rice ratio
3. Bring to the boil
4. Reduce heat, stir, and cover the pan, cook for 12 minutes
5. Remove from the heat, keep covered & stand for 5 minutes
6. Fluff it up with a fork and serve

The fortified kernels look, taste, and cook just like a regular rice and the vitamins and minerals, cannot be rinsed, washed away or cooked out.

A cooked serving of rice (180g) and 75g of uncooked rice contains 4.5mg of Iron which is 32% of recommended daily intake*
