Mooli Pancakes (cheat's mooli paratha)

Ingredients

  • 50g Chakki Gold atta
  • 1 egg
  • 150ml milk
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp melted ghee
  • 50g mooli, (white or red radish) shredded
  • 1-2 green chilli chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp dried methi
  • ½ tsp chilli powder

To serve:

  • large pinch coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 chilli, chopped
  • Pickle
  • Plain yoghurt

Method:

01 Mix all the ingredients together in a jug except the coriander

02 Heat up your pancake pan and wipe with oil.

03 Take a ladle full of the mixture and pour on to the pan and rotate it around to fill the pan. Spread out the mooli. Leave to cook for 2-3 minutes. Once it has firmed up use a spatula turn the pancake over and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.

04 Place onto a plate and sprinkle with chopped coriander, and chopped chillies and serve with some spicy pickle and plain yoghurt.
